Snow is a part of the holiday season in many parts of the world. Unfortunately not where I am, in Clearwater where it is 23°C.

	Here's a few of my pesonal recommendations for you who want to read about the snow
	Smilla's Sense of Snow: A Novel Danish writer Peter Høeg's suspenseful breakthrough novel is beautifully written, and the snow takes a prominent role as the key to it all. Buy it on Amazon (Original Danish title is "Frøken Smillas fornemmelse for sne" and it is also made as a movie, as well as a 2025 television series.
	Tintin in Tibet (The Adventures of Tintin) Hergé, one of the most famous Belgians in the world, made this comic album about Tintin in Tibet where he faces "the Abominable Snowman". Buy the comics on Amazon.
	Valerian and Laureline: The Wrath of Hypsis Jean-Claude Mézières and Pierre Christin made the series "Valérian and Laureline" and the 12th album in the series features some snow ... and more! Buy it on Amazon.
	A note from my secret life ... In my teenage years, I made comics in "Hjelm Påbudt" (Wear a Helmet), which was our working space in the low-ceiling basement of my mother's house. I arranged for Jean-Claude Mézières and Pierre Christin to make a visit to our drawing room and critique our comics. It was national news back then (1986).
