You will learn in this workshop that some of the elements important to dive into photography, is to feel inspired (as in being in a new place with new people), and to be able to focus on what it is you want to create (as in removing random action and noise by avoiding busy and happening places).

Do I have to use Leica to participate?
Any brand of camera is welcome, digital and film. You might be smitten by the idea of using a Leica during the workshop. No pressure, just lots of fun. Nikon, Sony, Canon, Fuji, Hasselblad et al is commonly seen.Â
You will learn in this workshop that one of the important elements to dive into photography is feeling inspired (such as being in a new place with new people), and being able to focus on what you want to create (by removing distractions and avoiding busy, happening places).
The workshop also includes time for editing and sharing our photos.Â

One of the exciting things in an Overgaard Workshop (that you didn't expect) is the portrait photography part. A few hours where you get your personal crash course in working closely with a living person in front of the camera, and how to master the technical perfection of a photo using a reflector, light meter, color meter, and how to time the exact right moment to capture the soul of another person. You might also get to experience being in front of the camera, if you like.
